Your Thoughts on Scoping

hey,

Before the release of black ops there were many rumors that there is gonna be no quick switch and quick scope, treyarch wanted to make Sniping real ?.
Since black ops is out, i think Sniping is awright. Not what i had expected but it has a different game style in comparison to cod4.
No scoping is hella easy with steady aim. in fact no scoping is easier in BO then it is in Cod4. you can also quick switch. Not so sure about quick scope though. Sometimes the scope lands of target, so the only option is drag scope.

And how ugly is acog in Black ops.... Its bad..

So what do you think ?
What perks do you use with your sniper class ?

tbh every time i go to quick switch it just reload's the gun from the start so like if the gun just finish reloading and quick switch i have to waste time letting the gun reload again annoying has fuck but no scoping is easy and drag scope

P.s some one quick scope JD2020 yes the person who made the game lol

well, i just opened the 1st bolt sniper and didn't have time to make a class so idk how it feels like... but i'ma find out soon! I hope on ur bolts server! btw, do you even have it yet? if u do, can you please put a reminder or a box that u cAn use to join game cause i think that there is no console and u can't just do /connect (host)

yea atm steam is working on that

and asap we figure out how to run a sniper only server, we will make a server Bolts Only

P.s the only thing b3 makes the server lag is by open the ftp fully

sG servers had manu mod, we never had lag, it worked perfectly fine

Nah the community i am in has b3 and they got custom epic commands ask archie and it never lags the server unless they open ftp fully which they never do unless they are doing some configs with b3 like add new ones or add new updates to the mod

Manu mod give you:

`1 - Custom Commands for example !config !kick !tempban all those !rank, The commands are endless
`2 - 3rd party Software instalation
`3 - Requires PHP which for more server hosting company is unstable and unsafe
`4 - Have weapon Restriction you can setup whatever weapon you don't wanna allow in the server



b3 - Big brother mod
`1 - Custom commands but have a different rating/Ranking
`2 - 3rd part installation but you have to be a genius in coding HTML and others, its hard
`3 - Its much safer though, But its used my allot of server hoster companies
`4 - No weapon restriction, have to use 3rd party software.. and its gay. I tried it once.
But Still no custom messages
`5 - Requres Punkbuster so it can use Pb ingame commands


My choice is manu mod !!! Booyahh

Personally I hate sniping in BO doesn't feel accurate at all. Would rather just snipe in cod4 anytime. I agree on the no scoping part being super easy. I usually just run around no scoping because its way easier then ADS probably because of steady aim. On any gun that I have steady aim on its better just hip firing than just ADS don't know why but its just much more accurate. (this includes shooting far distances)

i use to hate it too, but i don't know i am kinda getting use to it. The variable scope makes it harder for me for some reason you can't quick scope with that man. Tomhawk any good ? i havn't tryed it yet.

Guess ill mess around with no attachment more then and yeah the tomahawk is great! =D its faster than the throwing knife in mw2 so it gets to ur target without a prob.

i will give it a go, and yea normal scope is heaps better. And also now i am getting use to acog.
Acog is not that bad if you use it in small maps like nuketown and fire range. Other wise for long rage i prefer my pwnage scope

It's true, the commands are endless... But u r wrong about the lagg... it happens pretty often and stops after 5 minutes... LITERALLY! so it's kinda annoying

archers you fail then i never get lag unless they go on the ftp and open it fully and anyway when you join the server your ping goes from like 150-250 every time while every1 else ping the same

what do you mean ftp ? they open ftp ?

i know what ftp is - but what ftp do they open? i am confused

and i don't know what ftp it is but its a mod "zombies" and no not the one where you got skulls and ice and shit...

No think won't happen it was like mw2 get dedicated servers some one did that got loads of sign but still mw2 wasn't given dedicated servers

i was on about mw2 idiot

the same thing happens with mw2 on pc to get dedicated servers but it never happens even with loads of signings and more things happen they still didn't add dedicated servers

and now look trying to get quick scoping back to normal on black ops its going be the same thing loads of people sign do other things to make them put quick scope on but they ignore it and leave the game how it is
